Text frame icons not appearing

Using Adobe InCopy 2015, I am not seeing the globe-and-paper icons on the text frame nor the checked-out pencil icons, either in InDesign 2015 or in InCopy.

In InCopy, he only indication that a copy block is editable is when you hover over it and get the tool tip.

This must be a setting somewhere, but I cannot find it.
