I have been trying really hard to be able to have a PC edit the assignment text boxes in INCOPY that were created on a MAC. I keep getting an error that the file can not be open, even though I can see it open in INCOPY... it just won't let me check it out. How can I have this cross platform to work? InDesign documents are being created on a MAC, then someone else on a MAC is creating assigments for INCOPY. Then on a PC we grab the InDesign icon (of the layout) and drag it to the INCOPY program icon. It launches INCOPY, open the document, and I can view it three different ways. Fonts aren't showing up, and it won't let me check it out.
